Jeff joined 4th Utility in 1998, building on a strong family history in electrical and low voltage contracting in BC dating back to 1948. With 20 years of field experience as a licensed electrician to draw from Jeff can appreciate your installation needs as well as your bottom line.
Juan Aristizabal, RCDD, NTS, DCDC, DMC-E&D-4K
Technical Director / Research & Development / Project Manager
Juan joined 4th Utility in 2000 and is a company principal. Juan completed his Electrical Engineering Technologist degree in 1981 and since developed a passion for integrating telecommunications, electronics, automation, security and audio visual systems into intelligent buildings. With his project design, management and installation experience, he provides broad knowledge and professional support to our team, consultants and clients. Juan is an active BICSI and INFOCOMM member and holds numerous industry certifications in all these disciplines.
Shane joined 4th Utility in 1997 and is a company principal. Shane has been servicing clients and installing low voltage communication systems since 1990. Starting in a small town in the Cariboo, the opportunities to install and maintain many different system types were plentiful. His industry training from the University College of the Cariboo and B.C.I.T have provided Shane with the technical skills to get the job done. For many years his focus was on the installation and maintenance of healthcare related systems throughout BC, where customer, staff, patient and resident relationship skills are a priority to create a pleasant working environment for all.
Sean Prendergast, RCDD
Superintendent / Project manager/ Estimator
Sean joined 4th Utility in 1995 and is a company principal. Sean entered the communications industry in 1988 working hands on as a technician / installer. Sean has continued through various positions from installer, foreman, to project manager, estimator and designer in the communications industry; his knowledge and trouble shooting skills add to the success of our team.
Project Manager/ Estimator
Tracy joined 4th Utility in 1998. He started his communication career in the Department of National Defense as a licensed electrician and technician. Tracy is well versed in both electrical and low voltage systems. Specializing in fiber optics installations and troubleshooting, he is an excellent source for field technicians, estimators and clients to draw from.
Monika joined 4th Utility in 2001as a technician, she now has over 18 years of field experience to her credit. She recently made the move into our office as Project Coordinator and estimator. With her attention to detail and customer service skills she is a welcome addition to our service department.
Patricia has had the opportunity to work with the 4th Utility team since 2009. She has provided the company with many years of accounts receivable experience in various industries. Her desire to maintain good client relations remains very important to her and our team.

Estimator & Project Manager
Ryan joined 4th Utility in 2020. He has 17+ years experience in the construction industry as a consultant and brings a variety of perspectives to his projects. His priority is on quality installation & customer service; he ensures client satisfaction from project initiation through to project closure and follows up.
